Did you play an unfair claw machine in Illinois?

Many of us have played a claw machines. They offer shiny and furry prizes, mainly to children, to can grab their prizes using a joystick to control a metal claw. Unfortunately, the companies who make and service these machines use predatory tactics to steal customers money. In many cases, it is virtually impossible to win a prize because the people who create or maintain the machine adjust the settings so the claw cannot retrieve any of the prizes inside. Luckily for Illinois consumers, there is a law on the books that prevents businesses from using such deceptive practices. Particularly where children are involved, we all have a responsibility to help end this practice. If you paid money for yourself (or your child) to use one of these machines, we’d like to hear from you.
