5 Minute Oil Change bogus charge

CRA is investigating claims that the business 5 Minute Oil Change is charging its customers an extra dollar for “tools” when it provides its services. Not only is this extra-dollar charge not disclosed until after the oil is put into a customer’s car, it is also buried in the fine print. This dollar-charge for “tools” is not part of the agreement that 5 Minute Oil Change customers sign up for. While it might only be a dollar, it is the principle that counts.
